Show & Tell with Simone Schermann

Hello and welcome to
Show & Tell Saturday
with
Designer Simone Schermann!

Before we begin, we wanted to thank Simone for being our March/April Guest Designer and because we LOVE her so much, we asked her to join our design team and she accepted!! Woohoo!!!
We are sooo excited to announce Simone
joining our team as a Shots of Life Pocket Page Designer! 😀

So take a look at this fantastic Pocket Page Simone created using the

March/April 2019 Shots of Life Pocket Page Kit:

"Week 39/2018"
Simone said this about her layout:
"Since the green background of my son's photo was the most dominant in the spread I decided to place it at the bottom right corner and balance it out by creating a title card that was very calm but picked up the green in the title using the stickers from the Heidi Swapp sticker book. I knew right away I wanted to use the speech bubble from one of the MME journaling cards as an element on my cards and so I decided to pick up the rounded edges of the card and made it a design choice in this spread: I rounded the corners on the patterned paper in the title card, as well as the goals card and the journaling box on the card in the top right corner. Since the photos were very dark and colorful I used a black pen to outline some of my cards and thus put more weight on them as well."

Supplies:
Shots of Life Kit: All papers(of March portion), MME stickers, Heidi Swapp stickers, Echo Park washi tape
Personal Stash - date stamp (felicity jane), white cardstock
