August Sneak Peek Week: One Final Look!

Today is the last day of our Sneak Peek Week - and we've got one final look at the August Doubleshot Kit from Doubleshot Barista, Shawnna Samples. The second side of our August DS Kit features the Pebbles Twitterpated line, complete with a full package of those super-fun glittered Chips (self-adhesive glittered chipboard die-cuts in the most innovative packaging - it looks like a small bag of potato chips). Cuteness level = 10!

Watch the website tomorrow for the full reveal of all of our August kits. We're just getting back from a super-busy week at CHA, so the website will be updating later in the day as we put the finishing touches on everything. :)

August Sneak Peek Week: Day #5

Today we're sneaking the fourth and final line in our August Flavors of the Month Kit - KI Memories Groovy. I love the analogous color scheme of the red/orange/yellow in this line - it really looks, well, Groovy. :)

Barista, Jenny Moore, shows off this fun kit with some great photos of a recent trip to Giordano's for Chicago's famous Deep Dish Pizza - maybe I'll try to pick some up while I'm at CHA this week!

August Sneak Peek Week: Day #4

Our August Sneak Peek Week continues today with a layout that gives you a look at our upcoming August Doubleshot Kit. And while I pretty well am a big fan of all of our kits (for obvious reasons), I have to say that this August Doubleshot Kit is my favorite DS kit of the summer. I think I have become a HUGE fan of BasicGrey's new Oliver line - love the colors in the papers and all of the coordinating embellishments. While this line can certainly be "little boy themed" with the critters papers, I didn't choose those particular patterns for this kit. I think you'll love the combination of papers and embellishments for all different types of layouts - but especially if you're looking for a fresh masculine look that's not geared just for little boys. (Okay, I know I said I wouldn't get too wordy this month and I did here, but... )

Doubleshot Barista, Rebecca Bose, created today's layout.

August Sneak Peek Week: Day #2

August Sneak Peek Week continues with another layout that features our upcoming August Kit. Today's layout by Barista, Deb Wisinski, highlights the more vintage feel of the Glitz Kismet paper line. This kit also features some cool embellishments like coconut buttons. :)

Week #30 Weekly Challenge!

There is nothing that is more popular than BANNERS in the scrapbooking world right now. You see banners of various shapes and sizes on all sorts of layouts. We even created our own "Banner Builders" Stamp Set (now Sold Out!) so that you can make your own with your favorite patterned papers whenever you want to - and you're going to want to create a banner this week! (Can you see where this is going?)

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: Create a layout that includes a Banner! Upload your layout (along with your real life name) to the WEEK #30 CHALLENGE FOLDER. All layouts must be uploaded by 9:00 a.m. CST on Monday, August 2nd.

THE PRIZE: I am so loving the new Crate Paper Sneak Peeks that I'm seeing, and I can hardly wait to see it all in person tomorrow. This week's prize features a HUGE kit of goodies from Crate Paper's Lemongrass line. You'll get the complete Lemongrass collection kit with load of patterned paper and die-cuts, and you'll get the coordinating rub-ons, glitter die-cuts, alphabet stickers and glitter borders. August Sneak Peek Week Begins!

Hello Friends! I am headed to the Craft and Hobby Summer Trade Show tomorrow, so our August Sneak Peeks are going to be short and sweet. I know it's the layout photo that you want to see anyway, so I'll keep my commentary about how much I like each of the paper lines and embellishment choices to a minimum this month. :) Suffice it to say that I'm a huge fan of all of the colors and styles represented in this month's kits! I can't wait for you all to see the full reveal on the 31st!

We'll kick off this month's Sneak Peek with a summery and fun layout by Barista, Jenny Moore. Her layout features a brand new company - Echo Park Paper. The colors and patterns in this paper line was a must-have for our bright and cheery ScrapRoom kits!
