"Christmas Crackers"
I had to play along with the sketch challenge this month as I created the sketch! My original interpretation of the sketch replaced all of the circles with snowflakes but that didn't pan out. The patterns in the patterned paper got lost with the detail of the snowflakes so circles were much better suited. Stars or hearts are another option if you're looking for other options. I love the way the vellum softens the plaid background. When you have busy pictures like one often gets at Christmas, converting them to black and white is a great way to "neutralize" the chaos. I hope you find time to play along with the sketch challenge this month!
