October Kits ~ Design Team Extra Projects

Hello!
Today we are showcasing the extra layouts and cards created by the
design team using their leftover product from the October kits.

First up are layouts and cards created using the
Photoplay "Fall Breeze" Page Kit
included in the
Flavors of the Month Kit
Designer Heather Guy
"Painting Pumpkins"
Heather:
"I loved this kit for scrapping pictures of my grandma painting a pumpkin at her nursing home. The pumpkin stickers and embellishments went perfect with the pictures. I used some spray ink, liquid pearls and letter stickers for the word “painting” from my personal stash"

Designer Grace Tolman
combined the page kit with the
Embellishment Add On Kit
"Gather Here"
Grace:
"Even though I only had scraps from this collection left, I was still able to create a two page layout, all because I had plenty of photos to add. I laid out my photos first and then filled up the empty spaces of my white cardstock with pattern paper scraps. I even used some strips as a diagonal accent to the page. I wanted to incorporate more “nature” into the page so I used the kraft cardstock within the kit and punched out a leaf border with it, and then placed it on the bottom of the page. After that I added a combination of stickers and die cuts to decorate the rest of the page."
Personal stash items used:
Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Black, My Favorite Things); White Cardstock;
Border punch (Fiskars)

Designer Lisa Hidy
created this amazng
"You Are Never Too Old..."Card

Personal stash used:
Card base, cardstock, punch, embossing folder & sequin

Check out the beautiful projects created using the leftover product from the
AC Vicki Bolton "Field Notes" Page Kit

the second kit included in this month's
Flavors of the Month Kit
Designer Rochelle Spears
"Best Smile"
Rochelle:
"Title, arrow, puffy stickers and arrow from personal stash. I basically created this layout form the scraps I had left from the page kit."

Designer Lisa Hidy
"Hey, Hey Sunshine" Card
Lisa:
"I used the embellishment kit for the sentiment"
Personal stash used:
Card base and black cardstock

Using the
My Minds Eye "Gal Meets Glam" Page Kit
also included in the
Flavors of the Month Kit
to create the next three projects...
Designer Grace Tolman
combined the page kit with the
Embellishment Add On Kit
"My Sister & Girlfriend"
Grace:
"Since the prints in these papers did not blend well with the theme of my photos, I punched them out with my hexagon punch and then created a background with them. I find that with this trick, the eye would not focus so much in the prints of the paper but rather the design you can create with them. I also added some of the chipboard and die cut shapes here to complement my photos and story."
Personal stash items used:
Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Black, My Favorite Things); Letter stickers (Doodlebug Design Inc.); Purple and White Cardstock; Hexagon punch (Creative Memories)

Designer Lisa Hidy
used her leftovers to create this beautiful
"Life Is Too Short, Live It" Card
Lisa:
"I also used the embellishment kit for the sentiment and ephemera"
Personal stash items used:
Card base, black cardstock

And
Designer Rochelle Spears
used her leftovers from this kjit to create this wonderful
"Hello" Card

Now check out the amazing extra projects the designers created using their leftover product from the
Doodlebug Designs "Pumpkin Party" Page Kit
also one of the four kits included in the
Flavors of the Month Kit
Designer Rochelle Spears
"Boo to You"
Journal card, title and spider web doily from personal stash.

Designer Lisa Hidy
created a super cute
"Happy Birthday" Card
And
Designer Grace Tolman
created an awesome
"Halloween Owl" Card Set
Grace:
"I really enjoyed creating this card set. I recently purchased the Owl stamp set from Sunny Studios and had already stamped them on a piece of white cardstock. I just colored them in and hand cut them so they can be the focal point of my cards. I then layered the scraps of paper to create each card. I used the same sketch for each one to make my process go faster."
Personal stash items used:
Stamp (Sunny Studios); Ink (Black, My Favorite Things); Alcohol markers (Spectrum Noir); Nuvo drops; Rectangle die (Memory Box); Purple Cardstock; Card bases

The projects below were created with the page kits found in our
October DoubleShot Kit
Designer Dee Hunt
used leftovers from her
PhotoPlay "You're A Gem" Page Kit
to create the two layouts below:
"Happy Birthday"
Dee:
"My grandson Darren turn 19. He’s with his brother and dad. I I worked with some of my leftover pieces from the kit to make this page. I also used a swirl stencil and gold spritz for the background. From my stash I used a tag and some silver nail heads to dress up the page."

"Oh Yes"
Dee:
"I’m not sure what my granddaughter is doing in this photo. We were trying to figure out if she was sleeping or just being cranky. On my background paper I used a stencil and two of my oxide inks (broken china & worn lipstick) to crate the background. I also did some gold sprints on the page."

Designer Rochelle Spears
using her leftovers from the
"You're A Gem" Page Kit
created the incredible card below:
"You Are My Sun, My Moon, And..."

And the projects below were created using the
Bella Blvd "Make A Wish" Page Kit
Designer Dee Hunt
"Gallaghers"
Dee:
"Ella and her mom getting pictures in front of Gallagher‘s in New York before going in to have dinner. I just added some simple flowers from my stash for this layout."
