Mixing The Kits with Lori Stroup!

  Hello Friends!
Today, we are sharing this awesome layout created by
Design Team Member
 Lori Stroup
using a couple of the
"Fall"
Lori said this about her layout:
"I loved the Echo Park 'Fall' papers that are in the Patterned Paper kit this month. Dark woodgrain and orange check? Yes, please! I paired these papers with this month's sketch to create a really quick layout. I cut the center out of the woodgrain paper so it could serve as a mat to my layout and then I was able to use what was left for one of the circles. I used both sides of the Fall Harvest paper - one side of the banner and the other side for the circle. To help my papers stand out a bit from the white background, I inked all of the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress ink. I added the chipboard pieces from the embellishment kit and a few enamel dots from my stash and some gold splatters to finish off my layout.

Kits used - Patterned Paper Kit, Embellishment Kit
From Stash - white cardstock, enamel dots, walnut stain distress ink, gold mist."

November Shots of Life Pocket Page Kit Inspiration

Good Morning!
Today, we are excited to share this wonderful page spread created by
"2018 Fall Party"
Lori said this about her layout:
"For this month's pocket page layout, I used the Echo Park "Fall" cut apart paper and the b-side of the Carta Bella 4x4 journaling cards to document our 2018 fall family party. The cut apart cards do all of the work on this layout. I did pull in a few scraps of coordinating colors from my stash for matting purposes and I also pulled in a stamp set for a bit of embellishing. A pretty simple spread that came together quickly!

Kits used - Shots of Life kit
From Stash - green, brown, and red paper scraps, heart punch, stamp set"

"Fun Times Together"
Lori said this about her layout:
"For this month's "Mixing the Kits" layout, I have used this month's sketch and paired it with the Fancy Pants - My Type - papers from the patterned paper kit and the Shots of Life kit, and the enamel dots from the embellishment kit, the Pinkfresh puffy stickers from the embellishment kit and the flair pieces from the Shots of Life kit. I die cut a few hearts for my cluster bases and added a puffy sticker and piece of flair to each cluster. To help my title stand out on the busy floral paper I added a block of vellum to help tone it down.

Mixing Up the Kits with Lori

Hello Friends!
Today, we are sharing this sweet layout created by
Design Team Member
 Lori Stroup
using a variety of the
"Sweet"
Lori said this about her layout:
"For this month's "Mixing the Kits" layout, I used a paper from Paige Evans' Bungalow Lane collection, a paper from Bella Blvd's You Are My Sunshine collection, and the embellishments from Simple Stories' Simple Vintage Lemon Twist collection. These three collections worked surprisingly well with each other! I also used this month's Freaky Fast Formula for my layout. I used a doily from my stash for the 3 1/2 inch circle and punched my 1x12 strips with a scalloped border punch. The Simple Stories die cuts and foam stickers were the perfect embellishments for this layout and using this formula made this layout come together so quickly!

Kits used - Patterned Paper Kit, Embellishment Kit, and September Shots of Life Kit
From stash - navy cardstock for background and matting, white cardstock, and a doily"

September Shots of life Pocket Page Kit Inspiration

 Hello and Happy Monday!!

Today, we are excited to share this wonderful page spread created by

"Week 32/2021"
Lori said this about her layout:
"I loved the fun bright colors in the Bella Blvd 'You Are My Sunshine' cut apart cards and knew I would be using them to document Week 32 of 2021. I dove into my Bella Blvd scraps folder to add a little more color to my layout. I loved the multi-colored heart card and cut it down to a 3x4 size. I then matted one of the 2x2 cards onto some white cardstock and cut it to look like a polaroid photo to make my own filler card. I also fussy cut the sunshine from one of the 2x2 cards to add as an embellishment to my title card. I put my stamps to use on this layout for the majority of my embellishing.

Kits used - September Shots of Life Kit
From my stash - white cardstock, stamps, chipboard stickers, small enamel hearts"

Mixing the Kits with Lori Stroup

 Hello Friends!

Today, we are sharing this fun layout created by
Design Team Member
 Lori Stroup
using a variety of the
"Oh, Sweet Girl..."
Lori said this about her layout:
"For this month's Mixing the Kits layout, I have used Doodlebug Design's Cute and Crafty collection- and I created a layout that has nothing to do with being crafty! I cut out one of the cut apart cards from the Shots of Life kit to serve as both an embellishment and a subtitle. I layered the doodle pop camera that was in the Shots of Life kit on top of the printed camera on the card. The Confetti Canvas paper was a bit on the busy side for me. so I cut it into a circle and then kept my embellishments to a minimum around my layout.

Be sure to check out your papers' "b" sides if the "a" side is too themed for your liking. They might just be perfect for your layout!

Kits used - Shots of Life Kit, Patterned Paper kit, Embellishment kit

From my stash - pink background paper, white cardstock,, alphas, heart punch"

Mixing up the Kits with Lori Stroup

Hello Friends!
Today, we are sharing this fun layout created by
Design Team Member
 Lori Stroup
using a variety of the
"Constant Companion"
Lori said this about her layout:
"For this month's Mixing the Kits layout, I have used Jen Hadfield's Reaching Out collection. I just love the patterns that were included in the Patterned Paper Kit and the Shots of Life Kit. They were the perfect backdrop for these photos of my granddaughter with her favorite stuffed animal.

I based my layout on this month's fun sketch and made good use of both sides of the papers from the patterned paper kit. I fussy cut a few small flowers from one of the papers for the cluster by my title and I added in a couple of the foam stickers from the Embellishment Kit. The washi tape that I received in my Shots of Life kit was a bit too sheer to add to the blue polka dot paper as is, so I added it to a piece of white cardstock and cut it to fit. It shows up so much better this way.

Kits used - Shots of Life, Patterned Paper Kit, Embellishment Kit
From stash - white cardstock, alphabet stickers,, enamel hearts."

July/August Shots of Life Pocket Page Kit Inspiration

Hello and Happy Monday!
Today, we are excited to share this wonderful page spread created by

"Week 20/2021"
Lori said this about her layout:
"For this month's layout using the July portion of the Shots of Life Kit, I have used the cut parts from Paige Evans' Wonder collection and a few of the cut apart pieces from the PinkFresh Happy Blooms paper. Both collections work well together and make for a fun bright layout. I kept this week pretty simple in the embellishing department. After I added a title to each of the photos there really wasn't much more that needed to be done. I loved the puffy stickers that were included in this month's kit and scattered them around my layout. That also made me pull a couple of puffy alphas from my stash to create my title card and to add a few of the titles around my layout.

Kits used - Shots of Life

From stash - white cardstock, purple and yellow pattern paper scraps for matting, puffy alphas, tiny tile alphas, labels a couple of die cuts, 4x6 journaling card "

Here's a look at the
A great mixture of 12x12 cut a-parts, Sticker Sheets, and Coordinating Embellishments which include stickers, wash tape, sequins, ephemera and more!
