July Jump Start Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone!
Today we are revealing our new sketch challenge for July as well as introducing you to our
 July Guest Designer.

The ScrapRoom will no longer host the "Be Our Guest" Sketch Challenge.
Starting this month, our new challenge has been changed to the
"Jump Start" Sketch Challenge.
The only difference in the challenges is that the randomly drawn winner of our monthly Jump Start Challenges will receive a prize, instead of being asked to Guest Design for The ScrapRoom.

Here is the July Sketch:
Your challenge is to create a layout inspired by the sketch.
You can flip it, turn it, etc as long as we can tell your layout was inspired by the sketch.

THE RULES:
• Your layout must be NEW as of July 2, 2016
NO DIGITAL LAYOUTS
• You must be a FOLLOWER of our blog.
• You must link your entry below with Mr. Linky by
July 31st, 11:59 PM (PST)
• You must include a LINK back to this challenge post when posting your layout on your blog or gallery.

TSR Kit Club subscribers and non-subscribers are encouraged to play along with us and although we would love for you to use a TSR Kit, it is not a requirement to participate in the challenge.

Here is the prize you are playing for this month:

Now it is time to meet our awesome
July Guest Designer
Raechelle Bellus
Today Raechelle is sharing a little bit about herself as well as the layout she created inspired by this month's sketch:
"Hi! I am Raechelle (pronounced Rachel) and I am thrilled to be the Guest Designer for The Scrap Room this month! I have been scrapping for almost 15 years and it is my go-to creative passion. I find it amazing how simply taking some photos, paper, and embellishments can transform into not only a cherished memory, but also an artistic expression. Sometimes I sit back and think, "Wow! I actually made this!". I have been married for almost eighteen years and together my husband and I have a blended family of six children. I am a grandmother, a proud Navy mom, a dedicated mom of a child with multiple medical issues, and an avid reader. I look forward to sharing my work created with the fantastic kits this month, as well as seeing what everyone else creates!"

And here is the wonderful layout she created inspired by the sketch using the
July Pebbles "America the Beautiful" Page Kit
included in the
Flavors of the Month Kit

"Mount Rushmore"
"As soon as I previewed this kit, I knew immediately that this would be perfect for the July sketch! The doilies were the starting point as my assignment was to use the sketch as is; the only exception I made was to add some fussy-cut flowers in lieu of two of the circles. I fussy cut several flowers from the patterned paper and added some dimension by hand-stitching the starbursts, and along the top and bottom edges. The Buffalo embellishment was a perfect base for the title.

I added the Pebbles American Plaid paper from the July Patterned Paper Add-On Kit as well as two of the labels from the Elle's Studio Lil' Snippets Labels that are included in the
July Embellishment Add-On Kit. They were perfect accents to this kit.

Items from personal stash:
Alphas, floss, buttons, and twine."

Close-ups:

    1. Barbara i tested Mr Linky and it is fine. Looks like you are trying to link up an image from a FB Gallery and if so, it will not work. You will have to link your layout from a blog or an online gallery.
