May Freaky Fast Formula Inspiration

Happy Friday everyone!

Today we are showcasing the lovely layout

Designer Nicole Bingaman

created inspired by the

May Freaky Fast Formula

Nicole said this about her layout:

"I paired this month's Freak Fast Friday formula challenge with the Echo Park Away We Go kit from the May Flavors of the Month.

Please excuse the blank photo areas, I am still waiting for photo ink... BUT as I assembled my layout I made sure that no adhesive touched the areas that I would need to come back and tuck my photos into.

I followed the dimensions of the formula, but I did make three of the 3x4's instead of one and used those for my photo sizes. I also cut the 2.5x7 into two pieces and tucked it behind the larger layer to give it the illusion of a larger panel."

This month's formula...

Fancy Pants Designs Simply Summer Page Kit Inspiration

Good Morning!

We have more great layouts to show you today!

Our Designers used the

Fancy Pants Designs - Simply Summer Page Kit

from the

May 2022 Flavors of the Month Kit.

Nicole Bingaman

created this wonderful layout:

"Back Porch Memories"

Here's what Nicole said about her layout:

"I paired the Fancy Pants Simply Summer kit with a go to design for my personal style. I love pairing a photo collage with a few pieces of pattern paper and a little scene from embellishments to create a super quick and easy layout. Even with repeating a design layout, you still end up with unique layouts just from swapping out the products. I used supplies from the main kit and added in some alpha stickers from my stash. "

Emiley Steinbruegge

created this Fun layout:

"Summer Fun"

Here's what Emiley said about her layout:

"The Summer Fun kit is absolutely adorable - the colors and embellishments are great! I also love the cut file from Cut to You and decided to make that a really large element on my layout. I changed the cut file up to better suit my layout and added another small cutfile I created as well. The hose and water themed embellishments inspired me to scrap these older pictures of my older kids having a "hose war" in our backyard! With the large cutfile as the focal point, I didn't need to add many other embellishments so this layout came together rather quickly."

Along with the page kit, Emiley used the EXCLUSIVE May CutFile, Embellishment and Patterned Paper Add-In kit.  From her stash, Emiley used foam adhesive, white cardstock, nuvo drops

Rochelle Spears

created this layout:

"Summer Fun"

Rochelle said this about her layout:

"Everything is from the page kit, except form Alphas used for title."

Simple Stories Full Bloom Page Kit Inspiration

 Happy Hump Day!

We have another page kit to share with you today!

Here’s a look at what our Designers created using the

Simple Stories Full Bloom Page Kit

From the

April 2022

Flavors of the Month Kit.

First up is

Emiley Steinbruegee

"Could You Bee Any Cuter?"

Here's what Emiley said about her layout:

"The Full Bloom kit is absolutely adorable! I really like the bumble bee papers and embellishments and decided to play those up. I loosely followed the April Jumpstart Sketch and found a cutfile of a beehive to replace the circle element - I love what it adds to the layout! And I hope you are reading my title the way I hear it in my head - in my very best Chandler Bing voice!"

Emiley used the Page kit along with the Embellishment Add-On and Patterned Paper Add-On Kit along with some personal stash items: foam adhesive, black pen, cutfile, black cardstock, alphabet dies

Rochelle Spears

"Bloom"

Nicole Bingaman

"Bounce House Hostage"

Here’s what Nicole said about her layout:

“This is my favorite type of collection from Simple Stories. They always bring such fun elements to their spring lines.
I made a quick photo collage as my photos were not the best, and centered it on the notebook pattern paper. This sheet had a pre-printed little scene at the bottom so I just built that up with die cuts and stickers. Then I created a larger scene above the photos.
Additional Items: 12x12 stickers from the Embellishment Add On kit, blue pattern paper from the Pattern Paper add on kit, Simple Stories alpha stickers (from stash), white cardstock for journal strips (from stash).”

Echo Park New Day Page Kit Inspiration

Happy Monday!

Today, we are sharing some fabulous inspiration from the

Echo Park New Day Page Kit

 From the

April 2022

Flavors of the Month Kit.

Here's what the designers created:

Robin Redd

"Love & Kindness"

Here's what Robin said about her layout:

I want all those little cameras with flowers in my life, everyday. And, this cut file works perfectly with that paper! I don't use cut files enough. I'm so glad The ScrapRoom offers them with the subscription, now. So fun!

Nicole Bingaman

"In a Sky full of Clouds be a Rainbow"

Here's what Nicole said about her layout:

"I was so excited to see that the Echo Park New Day kit featured some pops of purple. I have had these photos of my daughter on stand by for awhile just waiting for the perfect kit and this was it.

I created two simple photo strips with three photos each and an empty space to fill with strips of different papers from the kit.

I used alpha dies and the plaid/cloud papers to create the large words in my title. The title I came up with from one of phrases that was in the chipboard elements from the embellishment add on kit.

Additional item: pattern paper add on, embellishment add on, white cardstock for background and journal strips, alpha dies and small alpha stickers, date stamp."

Rochelle Spears

"Hello"

Here's what Rochelle said about her layout:

"So I do not use cut files that much.... maybe only once or twice before.  I enjoyed this one.  Very easy and not too time consuming. lol ;) I love this page it.  The collection has wonderful colors and patterns!"

For today's inspiration

Designer Nicole Bingaman

created the beautiful layout below based on the sketch using the

Simple Stories "Vintage Indigo Garden" Page Kit

included in the

April Flavors of the Month Kit

and this month's cut file

Nicole:

"As soon as I saw this month's cut file, I knew it would be a perfect fit to combine it with the sketch challenge for April. I cut two of the cut files, one is just flip horizontally. I then just used my scissors to cut off one of the frame pieces so it was a single frame with the beautiful floral.

I used some of the pattern papers from the main kit to the back the cut files, and some scraps of the cream cardstock from the main kit for the leaves. I inked the leaves with stamping ink and a blending brush to get a green "paper".

I then cut out some circle layers as well to add those elements from the sketch. I paired down some of the layers and details on the sketch and went with a more simple approach.

Additional items: green ink, blending brush, digital die cutting machine"

Echo Park My Favorite Spring/Easter Page Kit Inspiration

Hello Scrappers!

Today we are sharing lovely layouts using the

Echo Park My Favorite Spring/Easter Page Kit Inspiration

from the

March 2022

Flavors of the Month Kit:

Robin Redd

"Spring"

Here's what Robin said about her layout:

"I want to wallpaper my house with the Happy Day floral paper. It’s so gorgeous!
Everything is from the page it, except the enamel dots, which are from the Embellishment Add-On Kit.  I also used a border punch from my stash."

Nicole Bingaman

"Easter"

Here's what Nicole said about her layout

"With the Echo Park spring kit I chose to pull out more of the "easter" themed elements and create a double page layout for photos of our Easter in 2021. I printed my photos on (2) photo collages, cut some pattern paper into strips and left the white textured cardstock open at the bottom of the pages to create scene with stencils, ink, and cute little bunny dies.

Embellishment Add On kit used for the floral stickers, bee stickers, lady bugs
Non Kit Items: white cardstock for journal strips, grass stencil, could stencil, various inks, bunny, basket and alpha dies, yellow glitter paper for alphas, date stamp"

Emiley Steinbruegge

" Spring Parties"

Here's what Emiley said about her layout:

"The papers in this Echo Park kit are right up my alley and I really wanted to showcase them. I decided to cut several strips of paper and create a diagonal design. The grid layered on top of the diagonal design again gave me a chance to showcase these papers and also the adorable icons from the sticker sheet. I found this layout was a great way to use lots of these adorable products while also including 11 photos! Yahoo!"

Along with the Page kit, Emiley used the Patterned Paper Add-On Kit and from her personal stash, she used foam adhesive, white cardstock to mat photos.

Flavors of the Month Kit:

"Currently"

Here's what Nicole said about her layout

"I love all things calendar and office themed so this kit was probably my favorite of the March flavors.  I created a "messy" style grid single page layout to document the last day of school photos from last year. I picked out my favorite icons from the 12x12 sticker sheet in the embellishment add on to add interest to the various grids.

Embellishment Add On kit used - 12x12 sticker sheet elements
Non Kit Items: white cardstock for journal strips, 3x4 notebook die"

Damask Love - Life's a Party Page Kit Inspiration

Hello Scrappers!

Over the next few days we are going to take a closer look at the individual page kits within the

March 2022

Flavors of the Month Kit

along with all the fantastic layouts our Design Team created using these kits!

First up is

Damask Love - Life's a Party Page Kit

Take a look at what our Design Team created:

Lisa Hidy

"Family Party"

Here's what Lisa said about her layout

"This kit had such a fun mix of patterns it was hard to chose which ones to use! The vibrant colors were perfect for these family party photos celebrating little Jade's first birthday party!

From my stash: letters stickers and word sticker."

Emiley Steinbregge

" Hello Spring"

Here's what Emiley said about her layout:

"I absolutley love the "Hello Spring" Cut to You cutfile that was included this month - I thought it would look great paired with the rainbow paper from the Damask Love kit. I decided to make the cutfile the star of this layout so I cut it out rather large and kept the rest of the layout relatively simple. I adore the way it turned out"

Emiley also used the Patterned Paper Add-On Kit along with these items from her personal stash:  blue pen, star die, foam adhesive, white cardstock to mat photos

Nicole Bingaman

"Skate"

Here's what Nicole said about her layout:

"I loved the skating elements from the Damask Love kit. I printed out my photos in (6) 2x3's and (1) 4x3 and make a little grid style photo area. I used a large scallop border punch on the yellow pattern paper to create some fun border strips."

Along with the page kit, Nicole used the following stash items: border punch, white cardstock for journal strips, glitter paper and alpha dies for title, enamel dots, label sticker and date stamp.
