How about another 30-minute layout challenge for the weekend? Grab one of your layout kits and one of your favorite photos that is at least 4"x 4" (bigger for more "pow" - but you can always make it larger with a photo mat or two). You'll be able to create this layout in less than 30 minutes, from start to finish! I'd love to see your variations, so be sure to post a link in the comments section or on our Facebook page!
- Cut (9) 3.75"x 3.75" blocks of patterned paper; aim for 5-6 different patterns
- Mat a favorite photo with some coordinating cardstock or patterned paper (or both for a couple of layers)
- Assemble your patterned paper blocks around the edge of a sheet of cardstock, leaving narrow margins around each block, creating a grid.
- Add your matted photo in the center and embellish the page as desired.
Love this - almost done with mine - just have to add the photo.
