I LOVE my circle punches! I think each one of us has a special tool that we love to use when crafting. Mine is definitely circle punches. I like them all.... plain, scallop, or sunburst....I'm not picky.
I often use my circle punches to create garland-like embellishments to drape across my layout. This is a great way to showcase a bit of each pattern paper. I only had a bit of the Lily Bee pattern paper left since I loved it so much this month. Check it out below.
The circle punch is a great way to add a bit more to your layout with layering. This month I punched 3/4" and 1" circles as a base for my buttons.
Then I used my circle punches to circle around the "2" in my title to make it stand out a bit more.
What is your favorite scrapping tool????
Melanie
aawww......beautiful work! I love all those circles! I often think I need a circle punch, but I usually just cut them out.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah....favorite scrapping tool these days are my border punches! LOVE em!
ReplyDeleteDeanna is "Circle Queen" haha
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tool is my cricut...no need to store all the punches when I can just adjust the size and type of the circle on the machine and let it "chirp" along as it cuts!
I adore this layout and I am copying...I mean lifting...it and having it ready for a picture of my grandson when he arrives in the next few weeks. It will be how I announce his arrival to TSR!!
Melanie WOW great examples!! I love my circle punches too! Diane I use my cricut too but when I don't want to haul it out for something small those punches are great! I really like the garland idea I'll have to give it a go!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMelanie, I love the garlands you've been putting together - and I really love your off-center circles with "stuff" in the middles of them. *love*
ReplyDeleteMy fave tool is my Zutter distresser. Yep, an electronic paper wrecker. *grin*
Thanks for the great tips on using circle punches!! I definitely NEED to use my punches more!
