American Crafts - Dear Lizzy "Saturday"Page kit.

Stephanie shared this about her layout:

"Such a fun collection! I knew the minute I saw this ledger paper that I HAD to use it for the background. So that's where I started and I just built from there. I didn't originally intend to use so many photos but once I decided on an event, I just couldn't eliminate any one of them! With a little overlapping and smaller photos, I made it work. This collection has some great patterns and colors in it, really allowing for all kinds of possibilities. The little banners at the top were actually cut from a piece of patterned paper. The washi tape in the embellishment kit allowed for even more little bits of print to be added. I had a lot of fun playing with this one!"

Rochelle shared this about her layout:
"My focus on this page started with a half circle scrap piece of paper (the flower paper) that I had from another layout I created with this page kit.  I wanted to utilize it and worked around it.  I layered some strips of papers, even the bottom "brand strip" over the part of the circle that had been gutted. lol  I also didn't have much embellishments left, so I stamped flowers and popped them up on my layout.  I then added some bling (from my personal stash) around the page and cut my title from the cameo.  What I really love about this layout (besides the photo of my husband and I ;) ) is the way I hung the one banner piece off the twine! It's the little things! ;)"

September "Jump Start" Sketch Challenge

Good morning, it's time to reveal the

September "Jump Start" Sketch

Your challenge is to create a layout inspired by the sketch.

You can flip it, turn it, etc as long as we can tell your layout was inspired by the sketch.

• Your layout must be NEW as of September 2, 2016

NO DIGITAL LAYOUTS

• You must be a FOLLOWER of our blog.

• You must link your entry below with Mr. Linky by

September 3oth, 11:59 PM (PST)

• You must include a LINK back to this challenge post when posting your layout on your blog or gallery.

TSR Kit Club subscribers and non-subscribers are encouraged to play along with us and although we would love for you to use a TSR Kit, it is not a requirement to participate in the challenge.

Steffanie:

"I had the task of using this month's sketch rotated. I chose to rotate right, placing the large "banner cut" piece at the top of my page. It felt really natural this way. The colors and prints in this collection from Pink Paislee worked nicely with some photos I took while out for a run recently. I think they give the page a really playful feel. I eliminated one photo and placed my title there. I also added a little bit of stitching detail near the top. I pulled several embellishments and the title from one of the "extras" kits. I found the variety very fun to work with. Just a few little odds & ends from my own stash to complete the look."
