July Jump Start Inspiration Day 2

Today we are showcasing two more layouts created by
the Design Team
inspired by the
July Jump Start Sketch Challenge!

Our first layout inspired by this month's sketch was created by
Designer Steffanie Seiler
using the
Fancy Pants "Good Fellows" Page Kit
included in the
July Flavors of the Month Kit
blended with the
July Patterned Paper and Embellishment
Add On Kits

"Favorite Moment"
Steffanie:
"I was assigned the task of using the sketch rotated. I "stamped" some circles with navy acrylic paint and whatever circular elements I had on hand. I have saved empty rolls from glue dots, toilet paper, tape...I think the small circle is from a glue stick cap. This gave me some variety in the sizes. Doing this is a huge deal for me...taking that leap of faith to stamp on my background and hope they end up in the right place for my overall design. Luckily, it worked out. I love the color combination in this collection. The green, pale aqua, navy and pale orange worked really well for these photos of my boys along the river. I'm totally loving the epoxy stickers, wood shapes and flair too.
What can I say...I love this FOTM!"

Our next layout inspired by the sketch was created by
Designer Cassie Wiscarrson
using a blend of the
June and July Patterned Paper Add On Kits,
as well as  the
July/Aug Shots of Life Kit

"Let’s Go on an Adventure"
Cassie:
"For this page I combined the Elle’s Studio Sunny Days paper that is in the Patterned Paper Add-On Kit with a large 4x6 card that is in the July/August Shots of Life kit. The colors in the Shimelle card and the Elle’s Studio papers work really well together. I loved the circles in the sketch and decided to stitch them on my page instead of using patterned paper. I finished off my page with some of the Shimelle cut-apart sheet that was included in the June Patterned Paper Add-On Kit that I had left over. The wood stars, flair and bubbles are from my stash."

July Jump Start Sketch Inspiration ~ Designers Rochelle Spears and Brenda Ragsdale

Today we are showcasing two layouts inspired by the

First up is this super fun page designed
TSR Designer Rochelle Spears
using the
Carta Bella "Beach Days" Page Kit
included in the

"Summer Vacation Hawaii"
Rochelle:
"This layout came together for me quite easy. The sketch was fun and wanted I wanted to use a fun collection with fun photos. This Echo Park page kit from the Doubleshot is so super fun that it was perfect for this sketch and photos.
Everything is from the page kit except the twine and the Gold Thickers."

Our next layout was created by
Designer Brenda Ragsdale
using the
Simple Stories "Bloom & Grow" Page Kit
included in the
July Flavors of the Month Kit

"Priceless Moments"
Brenda:
"I love a good sketch and especially matched up with a great page kit.  It makes putting a page together easy and less time consuming.
I adapted the sketch to use just one photo because I really wanted to use this page kit to document this priceless moment of my granddaughter at the zoo checking to see how her wingspan measured up to an eagles.   What is so priceless about the photo is that she is holding her arms straight up over her head versus stretching them out on her sides (LOL).
The colors in this kit I felt were perfect for the photo and I added the doilies to make it more girly.
Instead of cutting the smaller circles from the patterned paper, I used the stick on brads included in the kit for the smaller circles in the sketch design.
I love how versatile this page kit is. The first layout I created using it was of my great nephew having fun at the strawberry farm.

Everything used to create this page is found in the kit with the exception of the doilies
which from the Pebble's America the Beautiful" Page Kit also included in this month's FOTM Kit, the twine, and the rub on (Priceless) from my personal stash and the phrase sticker is from a previous
FOTM Kit. Oh and I forgot the background wood grain patterned paper is from the
July Patterned Paper Add-on Kit."

July Freaky Fast Formula Challenge ~ Designer Rochelle Spears

It's the first Friday of the month and time to reveal the
July Freaky Fast Formula
The formula's are created by one of our designers each month for the purpose of encouraging you to create a layout in a short period of time, when you have little or no time to scrap!

Using this month's formula along with the
Pebbles "America the Beautiful" Page Kit
included in this month's
Flavors of the Month Kit
Designer Rochelle created this amazing layout
"Nate Mack Stars"
Rochelle:
"I love the FFF challenges! It's a great way to get a layout completed quickly! This one stumped me on the 3 1/2 circle but I used a 3 1/2 doily for my circle and it worked out beautifully! The doily and Title are from my personal stash and the wood veneers are from an older TSR kit."

It's now your turn to create a layout based on the formula.
to play along with this month's challenge.
We would love to see what each of you create using
this formula!

Enjoy your weekend
