Echo Park "A Perfect Winter" Page Kit:

The second layout featured today is by:

Designer Brenda Ragsdale
"Snow Princess"

Brenda shared this with us about her layout:

Echo Park always has the cutest winter papers and embellishments and this line was no exception.

My granddaughter, Katie was wearing pink and purple on this day, but I really wanted to use this page kit for her photos, so I printed them in black and white and I am pleased with the result.

All items used are from the page kit with the exception of the

Twine, Brown Alpha Stickers and Rhinestones.

The tag and tab were punched from the red cardstock included in the kit.

Fancy Pants Designs "Holiday Hustle" Page Kit Inspiration - Doubleshot Kit

Happy Tuesday!

It's time to take a closer look at the

December Doubleshot Kit!

The Scrap-Room's Doubleshot Kit consists of

(2) individual page kits.

Here's a wonderful layout from our Designer Lisa Hidy using the

Fancy Pants Designs "Holiday Hustle" Page Kit:

Lisa said this about her layout:
"I absolutely fell in love with the papers in this kit! I love the subtleness of the colors and the addition of the blue gives it a nontraditional holiday feel, perfect for those tree decorating photos! To make the fun papers pop even more I added some black cardstock from my stash to mount all the papers on instead of my usual technique of inking the edges of my papers!
From my stash: enamel dots, sticker letters and black cardstock."

The second layout we are featuring today using this awesome page kit was created by

Designer Brenda Ragsdale

"Joy"

Brenda shared this with us about her layout:

"When I first saw this kit I was not sure if I liked it or not, but after creating a page with it

I am totally in love with it.  It is so nice to have page kits to work with that are not the typical

"traditional" Christmas colors.   I really like how well this kit worked with my

black and white photo.  Love the embellishments in this kit, especially the wooden ornaments.

To complete my page, I fussy cut three presents from the "All Wrapped Up" patterned paper

in the kit and added raw cardstock to the back of each.   I also added the following embellishments

from my personal stash:

Wood veneer Christmas, "Love" Speech Bubble, and Snow flakes.

I am looking forward to creating another page or two with this kit.

Happy Holidays!"

August "JumpStart" Sketch Inspiration ~ Designer Brenda Ragsdale

Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing the layout I created inspired by the

August "JumpStart" Sketch.

To create my page I used the heautiful

Echo Park "Summer Fun" Page Kit

included in the

August Flavors of the Month Kit
"Sistah Posse"

This layout came together so easy using this month's fun sketch combined with
this beautiful kit.
I love the bright colors against the black background.
Everything is from the kit with the exception of the brad and the Thickers
used for the title work.

Here's a look at the sketch for this month created by
Designer Steffanie Seiler...

July Freaky Fast Formula Inspiration ~ Desinger TinGale Husong and Brenda Ragsdale

Happy Friday!!!

Today we are featuring a couple of layouts created by the designers

inspired by the

July Freaky Fast Formula

First up is this layout created by

Designer TinaGale Husong

using the

Simple Stories "Domestic Bliss" Page Kit

included in the

July Flavors of the Month Kit

"Getting Things Done"

And as an added bonus...

TinaGale has also created a process video to share with us:

Next up is the layout I created inspired by the formula using the

Crate Paper "Oasis" Page Kit

one of (4) page kits included in the

July Flavors of the Month Kit

"The Best Weekend Ever"

(Photo Forthcoming)

When I first saw this kit I was not sure how or what photos I would use to create a

layout with it.   I am in love with the wood print paper, the fun colors and the gold accents used in some of the embellishments which add such a nice touch to your projects.

And how about the gold hand written Thicker phrases......AWESOME!!!!

As a bonus, here is a quick sketch I created from my layout, with the dimensions of the

formula notated to make it much easier for you to scraplift my layout, if you

are not in the mood to create your own design using the formula...

And here is a look a this month's formula...

You still have time to create and upload it be for the deadline,

May Freaky Fast Formula

To create my layout I used the

"Chillaxin at the Creek"

"Another great page kit!   Great colors and patterns, perfect for these sweet photos of my great-nephews while on their mini vacay at Tuttle Creek State Park!   As you can see from the photos, the boys enjoyed living the cabin life for a few days!
