Her design is such a fun mix of pattern and dimension—those layered triangles on the left add the perfect touch of interest, while the clusters of embellishments bring everything together so effortlessly.

Jennifer Cain

Hi my name is Jennifer Cain aka ScrappinCain. I have been scrapbooking for 25+ years. I live in Colorado with my two sons. Who are usually my scrapbook subjects. 

I enjoy using just about anything to show off my photos and tell my story. Masculine boy layouts are my favorite along with everyday type photos. I scrapbook 8 1/2x11 size, single layouts in portrait, landscape, and double page layouts. I use lots of different items in my scrapbooking. I love learning new techniques and finding new items to use.

Deborah is joining our Design Team for this month creating with the Flavors of the Month Kit!

Lets meet Deborah! 

    My name is Deborah and I live in the southern part of New Jersey, right outside of Philadelphia, with my husband, my teenage daughter and our 5 cats. I also have two adult sons that have already left the nest. 

    I have been scrapbooking for over 25 years and love it as much today as when I first started. While I mainly scrap 12x12, I also enjoy putting together mini albums and creative listing in TNs. I also love going to retreats and taking classes to learn new techniques. For me, scrapbooking is not just a hobby but it’s way of life….the photo taking and the memory keeping. 

     When I am not creating a new layout, I work full time as a Construction Project Manager building retail pharmacies. I also love traveling, cooking, and shopping for new scrapbook supplies!

We have some exciting news!

We are pleased to announce our

April 2019 Doubleshout Kit

Wendy Antenucci

"Hi I'm Wendy Antenucci and I am excited to guest here this month!  I have been married to my wonderful hubby for 19 years and we have 6 kids, ranging from 16-5.  I started scrapbooking shortly after my first child was born in 2002 and haven't looked back!  I am a SAHM and homeschooler so I tend to scrap during my kids rest time; it helps clear my mind and get me through the rest of the day.  On the side I am a violinist and I love teaching; I am a HS math teacher by profession and this year I am teaching English Grammer and Writing with Classical Conversations.

"My life in a nutshell: I'm a busy mom of a 14 year old boy , a 12 year old girl and a 3 year old little guy. Therefore my life is usually filled with learning, new discovery, bribery and sometimes "time outs". I have a loving and very supportive husband of 16 years. When the kids have gone to bed at night, my time is spent crafting while catching up on my favorite shows and movies. I am a big bookworm but prefer to read romantic novels. I love that they always have happy endings. I want to call myself a gardener but I kill more plants than keep them alive. But I still perserver because you never know, I might meet a plant that is resistant to my methods and would actually stay alive. I am also a student and will be graduating with a degree in Marriage and Family Science in July. I am looking forward to this chapter of my life to end. I have a ton of scrapbook projects that I've put off in the last 5 years and I can't wait to finally have the time to work on them.
Although I’ve been doing some type of scrapbooking since grade school, I only started to scrapbook seriously after my first child was born. When he was born I knew I will be staying at home with him but coming from a fast paced sales job I was afraid I would ran out of things to do during the day. Little did I know that with a newborn you won’t have anytime to do anything else. Anyways after going through a basic scrapbooking class I was hooked and haven’t stopped scrapping since. My style has evolved through the years but there's one thing that never changes- my quest to tell the story. That's always the first thing I think of when I want to make a scrapbook page and/or project. And lately I've been inspired by pattern paper and fun, bright colors.

"I created this page with this month’s sketch as my inspiration. I love how the papers all blend together. I tried to use the papers with bold designs (flamingo and flip flops) behind the photos so it didn’t over power the important aspects of my page. I also matted my photos to make sure it stands out against the pattern paper background."

"Ephemera for me has always played a support role in my projcts but these flowers and bird play a slightly different type of support. They feminize and make pretty a rather non-attractive picture. I also made my own digital cut file of one of the flowers in the CP patterned paper which you can download from my personal blog.

Suzanna Lee

I am Suzanna Lee; mother, wife, Physical Therapist, cat nap partner and a whole host of other titles! I have long had a hand in the crafting world but my love for patterned paper and fussy cutting began when we moved here to Glen Allen, Virginia and my paper collecting hobby became a paper cutting and layout creating hobby! My first gig as a Design Team member for our (now out of business) local scrapbook store led to another team and another and I have been going ever since. It is an honor to share with the papercrafting community new techniques, innovative ways to use product and share my love of paper, embellishments and preserving your memories all while being creative!

Over the years, I have had the honor and pleasure of working with several sketch/challenge, manufacturer and kit club design teams, and have had my layouts published in magazines and books. "Hey ya'll my name is Bethany Roisland! I'm a southern belle at heart who just happened to be born in the great state of North Dakota. I'm the wife of a Physician Assistant student and we have lived in 4 states in the last 5 years (shoutout to all the people from Minnesota, Tennessee, Florida and Delaware)! Scrapbooking has made all the moving so much easier because each time I unpack my scrapbooks I feel like I'm unpacking my best friends. Their pictures and memories go with me to each new location. 

I'm so excited to be spending this month with all of you here at The Scrap Room and I can't wait to see all of the neat layouts that you create!
