"Girls Weekend"

Here's what Suzanna said about her layout:

"While I love all the papers, I had to choose and so I went with mostly B sides between the kit and the add on's. There's a hit of the blues in there to compliment the blue shirt my daughter is wearing but otherwise I focused on the greens, pinks and yellows. Some of the flowers had too thick a white border so I trimmed that down a tad but otherwise, this kit is perfection! Lots left over for more scrappy creations!"

Here's what Suzanna said about her layout:

I seriously contemplated fussy cutting the floral bunches that are one of the kit patterned papers but decided that with the whole sheet of stickers, I had enough embellishments and really didn't need to do that. Instead, I showcased each of the B sides of the patterned papers and turned one of the journal spots from the patterned paper add on's into a tag to coordinate with the other tags I created. The house where we stay when we visit my son at Virginia Tech, where this photo was taken, has chickens so the chicken stickers were the perfect touch for this layout."

"I really liked the "polka dot" paper that Simple Stories created but didn't want it on the whole layout and the seam really bothered me. So I re-created the patterned paper using stencil brushes with Shimmerz and a stamp. Sometimes you have to be creative to stretch your stash or get the clean look that you are going for. Be sure to swing by the YouTube channel to see exactly how YOU can do what I did and create your own background to compliment this kit!"

"With this layout, I used American Crafts, Find Joy and Falling Stars from the Patterned Paper kit.  
I used the American Crafts Chipboard Word for the title on this page. But, first, I rubbed a coordinating color of ink pad on it so it would coordinate, nicely.
I, also, added some embellishments using the American Crafts Sticker Sheet from the Shots of Life Kit."
