* This set includes 1 pkg. Tim Holtz Film Strip Ribbon (108" of tape packaged in an adorable round storage tin) AND 1 pkg. Pink Paislee Black & White Houndstooth Tape (1 yard). These scrapbooking tapes have been manufactured by scrapbookers for scrapbookers and are perfect for creating custom borders for your pages and projects!

You can purchase this week's Steal through our shopping cart by clicking on the following link: THIS WEEK'S SCRAPROOM STEAL. Or, if you are currently a TSR member, then you can e-mail us with your order at admin@scrap-room.com. :)

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
  • Each Monday morning between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m., we'll post a new super-saver-scrappin' deal that we're calling SCRAPROOM STEALS! Quantities on these steals are very limited, and when they're gone, they're gone.
  • ScrapRoom Steals are offered for one week only or until they're gone!
  • ScrapRoom Steals are amazing Scrappin' Deals, with everything being discounted at least 40%-90% off of retail prices.
  • Since you know we love kits, most ScrapRoom Steals will consist of items bundled together for greater savings (and more fun)!

  • ScrapRoom Steals Shipping Policy:
  • ScrapRoom Kit Club MEMBERS can elect to have their ScrapRoom Steals shipped along with their next monthly shipment by selecting the "MEMBER ONLY" option when checking out. If shipped with a regular monthly kit club shipment, there will be no additional shipping charges, although the ScrapRoom Steal itself will be charged to the Member's credit card at the time of the purchase.
  • Customers who are NOT ScrapRoom Kit Club members are still eligible to purchase the Weekly Steals. The indicated shipping charge will be added to the total before the credit card is processed, and the item will ship out within 2-3 business days.

    Design Team Inspiration with Kim!

Hi there...My name is Kim and let me first say how excited I am to be here scrapping with The ScrapRoom Double Shot Team!!!! Now let me tell you about a project that I would like to share with you. It is not an original idea but I did find it when looking for creative card ideas and I thought it was so perfect for Mother's Day.

Ok, let's start with this shape......
As you can see, I used the Big Shot with what is called the "Top Note" Die. I have also seen this shape made with other die cut machines as well as die cut papers in the 6x6 packages.

Next you want to round off the middle. Look at the right side of the paper....now take you scissors and round of the left side to match.

Once you have rounded the edges, fold over the top half.

Here are some of the other items I used to put this lovely card together.....Smooch spray for that distressed look, chalk ink pad for those edges, and a small piece of ribbon for.....you guessed it......the little purse that you will be adhering to the card. Let me show you the results.

Here is your final result!!!!! Add a few pearls and your title....Viola, a beautiful little purse card for that special Mother in your life. Hope you enjoy and are inspired to try this out. It is super easy and a sweet sentiment on Mother's Day.

    It's a PAR-Tay with Lan!!

We can't have a "PARTY" without party bags right? I've created a candy pail and gift tags to add to this celebration. Perfect ways to deck it up for all those well deserving teachers that put so much into your children's education. A little way to say Thank you with a personal touch.

The matching card is just the right size to hold a gift card and fits nicely inside the can. I just *heart* the diecuts on this Jillibean line, just layer two together, and your work is done for you!

Supplies:Jillibean soup paper & diecuts, misc ribbon, TSR May candy wrapper stamps, fiskars apron lace border punch, corner rounder, Tim holtz distress ink

Next up is this set of 5 1/2" tags. I used my cricut George cartridge.

    The FRONT:

    and The BACK:
Supplies: Bo Bunny Ad Lib paper, decorative sissors dragonback and postage stamp, misc: button, hemp twine, tulle

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and make sure to check back tomorrow for more FUN!!
