"I thought this line was perfect for the photos of my nephew at the dino dig at the Science Museum. I loved all the fun ephemera pieces that came with my kit! I was stumped at first on how to relate the expoxy word to my layout to use for my title but then I decided to just add the word "dino-mite" on a piece of white cardstock that I printed on my computer. I like the result very much!! From my stash: navy card stock (to mount pictures) Embellishment kit: word strips."

Created this lovely layout: "1st Day of 8th Grade"
Heather shares this about her layout: "From the moment I opened this kit, I thought it was fabulous! I loved the colors and patterns and knew it would be great for documenting the boys 1st day of school from this year. But do you ever think you have the perfect papers for your pictures but then struggle to make the layout work? That is what happened to me on this layout! I tore it apart and redid it and moved things around over and over until I finally ended up with this page. I added the title from my stash, as well as the spray ink." Lastly, Rochelle Spears Created this layout:
"The colors and sparkle in the Sparkle City kit was perfect for pulling out this picture of our family at Disney World!! This was my boys 1st time at Disney and we did Go Big!! Such a magical experience and so glad to got to do it together! I added some spray ink from my stash to the background."
Grace Tolman "Lovely Day"
Grace said this about her layout:
"The design for this layout really started off with the paper that had the slanted or diagonal “wonderful” printed on it. I wanted to incorporate it but I also didn’t want to ruin the placement of the text so I cut it slanted too. This also allowed me to spread it on my two page layout. I filled the rest with pattern paper and the photos so it won’t look too plain. The camera paper seemed busy enough for me that I didn’t want to incorporate anything more that would distract it. Unfortunately, I also needed it to be more dimensional so it would have a little bit more interest. To fix my problem, I added the silver/foil foam dots in the word thickers sheet to some of the cameras. It was just the right amount of dimension to make them more interesting.
Since the photos are of our little field trip to the truck yard, I decided to add the truck sticker but it had some images on the trailer that didn’t quite mesh with my theme, so I just cut it out and used just the truck image. Products used: American Crafts/Shimelle Sparkle City + Embellishment kit Stash items used: Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Distress mini ink pad, Hybrid Ink My Favorite Things)"
"I liked the patterns in this mini kit, but they were a little bit out of my comfort zone. Since the papers had busy designs on them already, I decided to create my embellishments within the images so as not to add more contrast or compete with the already existing patterns. I fuzzy cut some of the cameras and then added them right on top of the existing image with some foam adhesive. This way, I added some layers to my layout but didn’t have to introduce new designs/images.
Personal Stash items used: Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Black, My Favorite Things); Scallop border punch (Fiskars)"
