"My Favorite"

 

Grace shares this about her layout:

"I adored all of the pattern papers in this collection but I also knew that I would never be able to include them all, even if I was layering them. So to incorporate as much of them as I can, I cut them into strips, some ½” others wider, and laid them on the center of my page, going down the layout. I added my photos ¾” down to break up all of the paper strips. I then tucked in some tags, cut out from pattern paper, to add some different layers to the page. I added some twine to it to give it a finished look. I also cut out the title “My Favorite” from pattern paper and added that to the page with a twine plus some foam adhesive to make it stand out against the busy background. I sprinkled some stickers and die cuts to complete the page.
Personal stash items used: Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Distress mini ink pad, Hybrid Ink My Favorite Things); Twine (Doodlebug Design Inc.)"

"I loved all the patterns in this kit so much I just had to use one of them for the background paper instead of cardstock! The color palette of this kit was a perfect match to this sweet outfit my friend's granddaughter was wearing!"

"My sweet granddaughter all dressed up in her Rapunzel outfit for Halloween one year. She looks like a little bride. I needed more Embellishments for the page so I stamped and colored the Hibiscus flowers. I add Fun Flocking in the center of the flowers."

"This kit was such fun to work with. These puffy stickers add dimension without needing to even use pop dots! I adored the floral paper and just had to fussy cut some fun flowers to accent my picture. The fun little framed quotes are so much fun and when I saw this one I knew I had the perfect picture to use it with! I know you will love working with this kit as much as I did!FROM MY STASH: die (together), brown cardstock, ink for edges of flowers and paper and journal spot for journaling."

"This is my first layout of my grand dog CeCe.  I couldn't wait to scrap her and this page kit was perfect.  Everything is from the kit except the title, which the small alphas comes from another page it in this months kit and "CeCe" are Thickers from my personal stash.  I made the tag from the cardstock and I fussy cut out the little blue dog. :)" 

"Zoo Fun"

"Another amazing kit to work with this month!   Fun colors and patterns, just right for the colorful photo of my grandchildren taken 2 years ago at one of their favorite places, the zoo!

"I absolutely LOVE the bright colors in this collection from Jillibean Soup! I chose a very recent photo of us girls doing what we love to do almost as much as scrapbooking---go scrappy shopping! I had fun layering all the bright prints and especially using the fun pineapples that seem to be all the rage right now. The wood veneers made for some perfect embellishments to support my theme. Good times!

I also used papers from the Patterned Paper Add-On Kit, Embellishment Add- on Kit

and from my own stash: enamel dots, alpha stickers, corrugated alpha, washi tape."

"This really is a beautiful collection from Fancy Pants. Different for me but so perfect for these photos, right?!? I love how the pinks, yellows and greens play in so nicely with the flowers in my photos. And also, did you notice the weathered deck and how well it goes with the light tan/brown in the plaid and the photo corners? It's like they were made for each other! I'm really loving the epoxy stickers that Fancy Pants is putting out with their collections now...so fun to play with!"

"Handsome Fella"

" I am in love with this super cute page kit. Some of my favorite subjects to scrap our my great nephews and this kit was perfect to document how handsome my nephew is at this wonderful stage of his life. At first I was a little stumped on how I would use the Shitake patterned paper but then decided how cool it would be for the background since the photos were taken outside in the park among the trees. Such wonderful colors, patterns and embellishments in this kit. This is kit is so perfect to use for scrapping photos of my little rambunctious nephews that I have created a second layout and working on a third!" 

All items used to create this layout is from the kit with the exception of the twine and the alpha stickers used for the title work! I also included a few pf the die cut pieces from the August Embellishment Add On Kit."

"Explore Today"

"When creating this layout, I really wanted to use the 3x3 squares from the Bite Size Bits paper.  It really went well with this photo of my daughter at the biggest Bayou Tree in Hawaii.  Everything I used is from the kit except the title and twine, which is from my personal stash."

"What's not to love about this fun page kit? Awesome color and design combos. I designed this sketch months ago and when I saw this kit and the photos of my great nephew jumping puddles, I just knew it would be the perfect sketch for this kit and photos and I am so happy how it all came together. I can't wit to use the rest of the kit to create another page. All items are included in the kit except for the Jillibean Pea Pond Parts from the May Embellishment Add-On Kit, the flair button is from the Fancy Pants "Atwell" Page Kit and the jute and title work are from my personal stash."

."Right Now, Today"

"I wasn't sure how I was going to use the acrylic pieces that come with the kit.  But after I inked them a bit (and rubbed it off so that the ink was only faintly on the edges), I thought they would show up really good on the blue cardstock.  I stapled the acrylic pieces to add a little more dimension. I love how it come out. :)"

"This is my layout called "Today". It is a layout of me and my son Christian; mother and son. Love!
Kit supplies I used are My Colors Cardstock 12×12 velvet night, Jillibean Soup Healthy Soup Collection "Aged Aloha" 12×12, Jillibean Soup Healthy Soup Collection "Jar of Jambo" and Jillibean Soup "Today" placemat.  From my stash, I used yellow doily, buttons and tags.  My MS Word journaling says, "my son my boy my joy."
