The colors in this kit are gorgeous! I love the mix of colors and patterns with the gold embellishments added in makes for a very classy kit! What a great kit for documenting this memory of my hubby and I at my sister's wedding. I added some enamel dots from my personal stash for a final touch on this page.

 November 2018 Flavors of the Month Kit

Grace Tolman:
"Happy Day"

Grace said this about her layout:

I wanted to highlight most of the papers in this kit and since I had 4 3x4 photos, I decided to create a “block within a frame” design. This helped me highlight the photos and pieces of papers within the center of the page. 

Since this was a documentation of a playdate, I incorporated the house die cut into the page.  I also used one of the tags to be my title.

Stash items used: Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Black, My Favorite Things); Twine (Source Unkonwn); Border punch (Fiskars)

I loved the big bold elements included in this kit! So fun and cheery. I used a lot of layers under my photo to make it take center stage!

"Fall Tradition"

Lisa said this about her layout:

" This kit was perfect for documenting our recent trip to the Pumpkin Patch, it's an annual tradition! I had fun creating a large off center banner for my title!

"Thankful For Fall"

Heather said this about her layout:

"Fall is my favorite season and Brown County State Park in my home state of Indiana is a beautiful place to be when the weather is changing to that crisp fall air and the leaves are changing! My little sister got married in the park and this picture was taken of my 5 Guys after the ceremony. The colors in this kit match the colors of the trees and leaves in this wonderful fall scene! "

"Fall Tradition"

Grace said this about her layout:

"I used the two brown papers for my background. Even though they’re two different papers, the browns in them match so they went well together. I connected the pieces with a 1” strip of the striped paper. I also added some matting to my 3x4 photos to make them stand out against the background better. I love the stickers; they helped me embellish the page in no time.
