U R My Heart

Here's what Heather said about her layout:

"Can I just say that I love this paper so much!!! I did not want to cover it up!!! In making this layout, I did not use any other papers from the kit, except the brand strips from the label of the other papers. I used embellishments from the FOTM kit and embellishment kit and they are just so amazing!!! I was super excited to do this page! From my stash, I added some twine in the tag and the mini letters "ur my" for the title."

Sweet Happy Baby

Heather shares this about her layout:
"These soft pink papers were perfect for some baby pictures I hadn't scrapped yet. I like how the pink stands out against the dark background paper. I matted my pictures with the pink paper and layered lots of stickers and embellishments. To attach the paper clip hearts, I used an exacto knife to cut a small slit in the paper and that allowed me to use the hearts in the middle of the paper."

Here's what Ashley said about her layout:

"This Vintage Girl collection reminded me of my Grandmother (who turns 101) this month. I really liked all of the patterns on each of the papers so I wanted to use them all. My "go to" formula is to use large amounts of the calmer, b-sides of the papers for backgrounds and then add smaller doses with the bolder patterned paper. I finished up by making embellishment clusters with the coordinating sticker sheet.

"As soon as I saw this kit, I knew exactly what picture I wanted to scrap! These papers and embellishments are GORGEOUS and perfect for scrapping this picture of my grandmother when she was a little girl. (I will add journaling at a later date)"

Rochelle said this about her layout:

"This is such a create collection, I couldn't wait to scrap a page about my husband and I.  Even the raccoon embellishments is adorable I had to put it on my layout! lol  I have always loved red and teal together!   And did I mention that super cute tassels! OMG! Love!!!  Everything on this page is from the page kit except the twine, which is from my personal stash."

"Puppy Love"

"I used the word "love" and a few enamel hearts from the embellishment kit as well

I loved the little ephemera card that says I WOOF YOU! I decided to do a layout with pictures of my fur baby nephew and my sister in law, those two truly "woof" each other! The puffy stickers in this kit are a lot of fun and give texture and dimension to your layout which I love! The fun enamel words in the embellishment kit are so cute and have great fonts! If you don't want to use the entire phrase it is easy to cut out one word to use to customize your own title like I have done with my puppy love title."

February Guest Designer

Suzanna Lee

I am Suzanna Lee; mother, wife, Physical Therapist, cat nap partner and a whole host of other titles! I have long had a hand in the crafting world but my love for patterned paper and fussy cutting began when we moved here to Glen Allen, Virginia and my paper collecting hobby became a paper cutting and layout creating hobby! My first gig as a Design Team member for our (now out of business) local scrapbook store led to another team and another and I have been going ever since. It is an honor to share with the papercrafting community new techniques, innovative ways to use product and share my love of paper, embellishments and preserving your memories all while being creative!

Over the years, I have had the honor and pleasure of working with several sketch/challenge, manufacturer and kit club design teams, and have had my layouts published in magazines and books. I have been blessed to design for Pebbles, Cocoa Daisy, Simple Stories, Just Nick, Stuck?! Sketches, Creative Scrappers, Scrapbook Generation, Imaginisce, The Twinery and Coordinations. I have been published in Scrapbook & Cards Today, Create, Creating Keepsakes, Cards, Scrapbook Trends and various online publications. I presently design for Cocoa Daisy and SpiegelMom Scraps. "Having already used this page kit, I had plenty left over and wanted to use it for another layout. Sketch challenges always peak my interest so I couldn't turn this one down! I wasn't sure about the larger circle at first but I'm glad I drew that circle in. Be sure to check out the YouTube channel if you are interested in process videos."
