September Recipe Cards are now Available on the Website!

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! 

Subscribers of the Flavors of the Month kit,

The September recipe cards are now available on The ScrapRoom website.

 Please refer to the newsletter in the kit for the password to unlock the recipes!   :)

For those of you who do not know, the "recipe cards" are step-by-step instructions to create (4) double page layouts (one from each page kit within the Flavors of the Month kit.)

The formula's are created by one of our designers each month for the purpose of encouraging you to create a layout in a short period of time, when you have little or no time to scrap!

"1st Day of the Next Chapter"

Steffanie:

"I knew right away when I say this FOTM kit which photo I wanted to scrap. I took this one last fall as I watched my son head off to his first day of middle school with his best friends. This was the first year that they were finally going to be at the same school. I love this memory. 

Anyway, the Photoplay Papers...so perfect. This collection is not so "primary" in its' color scheme. A little more grown up, in my opinion. And also, a little more masculine. Like I said, perfect."

Today we are sharing the last page kit from the 

September Flavors of the Month Kit!

But first, lets look at what our Designers created using the

"1st Day of 2nd Grade"

This is a great page kit to document any of your back to school. first day of school or any other school events during the year,  I chose to use it to document my great-nephew's first day of 2nd Grade and I am really happy how my layout turned.  Don't you just love the locker patterned paper? 

Everything used here is from the kit with the exception of the Alphas and the twine from my personal stash and the "wow" arrow and the backpack sticker are included in the 

September Embellishment Add -On Kit."

"Hello My Name is"

"This collection is such a cute school collection! It worked perfect for last year's school photos for both my son and daughter (another page I created using this page kit that will be reveal at a later date).  Everything is from the page kit, except for the twine and the tag I punched from scrap paper."

Pink Paislee "Take Me Away" Page Kit Reveal

"Hey, Niagara Falls"

"I've been wanting to finish my Niagara Falls album but the photos just haven't been working with the collections I've been using.  However, when I saw this paper of buildings from the Pink Paislee Page kit, I just knew I wanted to scrap scenic photos of this trip.  I fussy cut one of the row of the buildings and created the Sun with piece of ephemera & watercolor paints. A couple of the chipboard pieces are from the Embellishment Add-On Kit and the "Niagara" title is from my personal stash."
