Brenda shares this about her layout:

"This page kit just screams FUN! The patterns, colors and embellishments are just so bright and playful. to create my background, I used a large circle punch and backed the punched base with yellow cardstock (to add a little sunshine)! And to add a little dimension to my page, I adhered raw chipboard to the back of all of the cardstock stickers. I have more photos just waiting to get scrapped with the rest of this yummy page kit! A simple quick page, but I love how it turned out! All items used to create my page are found in the page kit."

"Simple Beautiful"

"The dreamy rose ombre pattern inspired me to scrap this photo of my mom. It's my favorite of her and I knew I could do it justice with this collection from Pink Paislee. I distressed the edges of my papers and did some machine-stitching around the larger ombre block. I fussy-cut some flowers to use as additional embellishments. I'm really happy with how it all came together and found the variety of colors and patterns in the kit to blend together very nicely while still giving you a lot if different directions to go with it.

From Add-On kit: Patterned Paper kit: 05 (yellow stripe), 08 (both sides), Embellishment kit: American Crafts 3D sticker ("love this") and from my own stash: wood veneer shapes, enamel dots, alpha stickers, Silhouette cuts for title work" 

"Favorites"

"Everyone knows how much I love me some USHER! A friend of mine challenged me to create this page of "My Favorites" and put "Usher" down for each item! So I did!! Everything is from the kit except the cork hearts (from add-on kit) and the title is from my personal stash."

 "Girly Girl"

"I love all of the wonderful soft colors and wonderful designs in this page kit which highlights this lovely photo of my granddaughter. 

I fussy cut the flowers and leaves from the 07 paper and die cut “girl” from the 02 paper for my title work. All items are from the page kit with the exception of the cardstock sticker in the upper left hand corner which is from the June Embellishment Add-On Lit and the following items were pulled from my personal stash: twine, sequins, and Thickers."

"Big Steps for Little Feet"

"I was looking through some older photos that I had in a box and couldn't believe how well these went with the Pinstripe collection from Echo Park. I just had to use them! I started with three vertical strips to create a backdrop and then used a wider, blockier piece as a "base" for my photos to sit on. From there, embellishments, title and some playful twine. Another one done!  Echo Park stickers and washi tape is from the Embellishment Add- On kit and Bingo Cards, Make Cents from the Pattern Paper Add-on kit."

"Adventure"

"This kit screams AWESOME! Perfect for not only your masculine pages but also versatile enough to create other themed pages. The great colors and patterns in this kit were a perfect match for these photos taken of my great nephews a few years ago and an early July 4th morning. To create the background for my page and make it a little “messy”, I used a bottle cap dipped in mist and also splattered some of the mist onto the background.  
All items used for this page were from the kit with the exception of the stickers which are from the June Embellishment Add-On Kit and the buttons which are from my personal stash."

American Crafts Page Kit Reveal

Happy Monday! :) 

As you know, The ScrapRoom's Flavors of the Month kit consists of (4) individual Page Kits! 

For the next few days we will be featuring each Page kit individually

so that you can get a taste of the different "Flavors" of the month! :)

"So Happy"

 "I'm a huge Shimelle fan and love the Starshine collection so couldn't wait to cut into it. It's perfect for Disney photos and I have plenty that need to be scrapped. I decided to try and channel my inner Shimelle and do a layout to reflect her style. I used the green from the green and white striped paper to punch a large scallop strip to go along the top and behind the photos. I fussy cut one of the globes from the paper and pop dotted it up over the photo to cover up some unwanted people in my photo. The twine is from the FOM Pinstripe collection. I matted my photos with a sheet of paper from the paper add on kit."

"Lets Go Explore"

"Here's the first layout I made with the fabulous June AC Star Shine" Papge kit! It is full of fun product and I had a blast working with it! I was inspired by the globes in the "Exploration" patterned paper and the globe chipboard accent to create a layout with this photo of my two granddaughters walking on a nature trail. All product used for this layout is from the kit with the exception of the alphas used for the title work, the journaling card which is from the Pink Paislee " Fancy Free:" Page Kit and the twine which is from the Echo Park " Petticoats & Pinstripes" Page Kit. The tags and clouds were created using pattern paper in the kit and punches. Note: for the clouds I punched from the background paper before adhering the layers of patterned paper and photo."

"The World is Limitless"

 "I really love this travel page kit! The color combo of this page kit is so yummy! It was the prefect paper form my trip to Niagara Falls.  Everything is from the kit, except yellow arrow and flowers."
