Scrapbook Inspiration: Bright Sunshine & Beautiful Memories

Today we’re sharing two beautiful layouts from our talented designers using page kits featured in the March 2026 DoubleShot Kit. These projects highlight how different color palettes and styles can tell meaningful stories—from bright, joyful moments to timeless memories.

Rochelle Spears – Echo Park You Are My Sunshine Page Kit

Rochelle created this cheerful layout using the Echo Park You Are My Sunshine page kit, included in the March 2026 DoubleShot Kit. The bright yellows, soft blues, and playful rainbow accents make this layout feel full of happiness and warmth.

The large circular patterned paper creates a strong focal point that draws the eye directly to the photo, while layered elements like clouds, sunshine icons, and florals add dimension and fun. The bold “Happy Sunshine” title perfectly captures the joyful spirit of the page.

This layout is a wonderful example of how bright spring colors and playful embellishments can make a memory feel even more special.

Amanda Ulmer – 49th & Market Nostalgic Memories Page Kit

Amanda’s stunning layout features the 49th & Market Nostalgic Memories page kit, also included in the March 2026 DoubleShot Kit.

The soft neutral palette combined with layered pockets, tags, and vintage ephemera creates beautiful texture and depth. Roses, clocks, and aged paper elements give the page a timeless feel that complements the photos perfectly.

One standout detail is the dimensional shaker element and the delicate embellishment clusters that add interest while maintaining the elegant vintage style that 49th & Market is known for.

Both page kits are part of the March 2026 DoubleShot Kit, which gives scrapbookers the chance to work with two beautiful collections in one kit.

Echo Park "Fall" and Carta Bella "Sunflower Market Page Kits

"Flora Wedding"

Emiley:

"I had some leftovers from the Echo Park Fall and Carta Bella Sunflower Market kits and I could not let them go to waste! The color palettes are similar enough that I knew they would work great together. The red barn on the sticker sheet immediatley made me think of some pictures I took of my two oldest kids at my sister's fall wedding several years ago. I backed a cutfile with some small scraps of paper I had left from both kits and was able to incorporate several embellishments from the embellishment add on kit as well to create a 9x12 double page layout."

Personal stash used:

White cardstock, woodgrain paper, ink drops, alpha dies used to cut letters, cut file"

Simple Stories " Home Grown"

"Farmer"

Dee:

"This farmer caught the heart of this little country girl. They are such a cute little couple. It was fun playing with angles on this one."

"Always Better Together"

Dee:

"This is my little best friend in the world. She came over for dinner but she would not let me take her picture. So I had to take one of us sitting having dinner together. I did add Nuvo Dots on the page to dress it up a little bit."

Christine shares this about her layout:

"for more information on our kit clubs! You can't go wrong with a grid of four! I used 4 inch squares to be the base of some silly pictures of my son. and then transitioned the theme to fit home life instead of farm stuff. Using the quote from one of the tags made it easy to bring in some embellishments!"
