We are happy to announce our

August 2025 Guest Designer

Lisa Brooks

Lisa is the creative force behind Life in Layouts, a YouTube channel all about double-page scrapbooking with lots of photos. She’s excited to guest design this month and share how she uses the Flavor of the Month kit to create story-driven, photo-filled layouts.

Lisa beautifully captured the charm of a rustic retreat in this two-page layout using the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Woodlands page kit. She showcased the cozy cabin experience with a collage of photos, blending warm wood tones and earthy greens to echo the natural surroundings. Her embellishment clusters—featuring woodland animals, butterflies, and meaningful word strips—add a whimsical, heartfelt touch. The stitched circle, layered banners, and journaling strips on kraft cardstock ground the design, creating a storybook feel that perfectly reflects the peaceful, unplugged getaway.
