Jamia Bankhead

Here’s a little about Jamia:

"Hello I’m Jamia. I’ve been married to my junior high school sweetheart for 32 years. We have 2 handsome adult sons and a furry maniac named Santino Corleone. I have been a memory keeper since 12. I like to cut up paper and glue it back together to create layouts and cards!"

Jamia will start designing with the Flavors of the Month Kit in April and you can see her layout(s) on the website under the "Idea's tab" here -

Introducing the New Design Team Members!

We have some exciting news!

3 new Designers to the team! 

Please welcome the following deisgners:

Emiley Steinbruegge 

Here’s a little about Emiley:

"Hi! My name is Emiley Steinbruegge and I am so excited to be joining the Scraproom Design Team! I started scrapbooking almost 20 years ago when my cousin introduced me to Creative Memories at a family gathering. I was hooked from the word go! I have always loved pictures and being creative, so scrapbooking was a perfect fit for me. 10 years ago, I decided to get rid of almost all of my supplies (yikes!) and switched to digital scrapbooking. But that didn’t last long…I loved digital (and I still use it for some projects) but for me, there is nothing like real paper! When I discovered the wonderful world of YouTube scrapbookers and was introduced to so many wonderful creators, new techniques, designers, companies, clubs, and products, it completely re-sparked my love of paper scrapbooking! I create almost exclusively two page layouts (because I take way too many pictures) and I love using bright colors and fun patterns. 

I have 5 kids (ages 16, 14, 13, 6, and 5), an amazing husband, and an adorable (but crazy) dog. You can find me on Instagram at one_scrappy_mama and Facebook at OneScrappyMama."

Emiley will be Designer with the Flavors of the Month Kit.

Shannon Allor 

Here’s a little about Shannon:

"Hello!  My name is Shannon and I have been an avid scrapbooker since 1996.  I am ever so lucky to have a supportive husband, three active kids and two roly poly English Bulldogs as subjects.  I do love all things paper crafting!  Lots of patterned paper, texture and dimension my perfect starting off points!  I am so inspired by all of the challenges here at the ScrapRoom.  I can’t wait to jump right in and create alongside all of the wonderful and talented designers!

Robin Redd

Here’s a little about Robin:
"Hello!  I’m Robin Redd and happy to be back on The Scrap Room’s design team!

I’m a life-long crafter, thanks to my mom.  As a child, I learned a bit of crochet, Mod-Podgorica, macrame and everything in between. To this day I love all kinds of crafts but number one is scrapbooking!  I have, well over, 50 scrapbook albums, filled and so many more photos I would like to scrapbook.   Thank goodness for The Scrap Room to help me get that done!"

Flavors of the month.

Good Morning!

The ScrapRoom would like to Welcome

Christine Meyer

to the Design Team! 

Here's a little bit about Christine:

"I'm Christine Meyer and I'm so delighted to be joining The ScrapRoom team!

 I grew up in Los Angeles and moved to Austin, Texas for college.  I met my husband there and have moved several times with him as he follows God's call to serve as a Pastor.  We moved to Ohio about 18 months ago and love it here.  I love to do Paper Crafting in just about any form and especially love to use it to document memories of my four kids! 

 I am currently on the Design Teams for Paper House Productions, SRM Stickers, and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  I am blessed to stay at home with my kids and manage their education!  Life keeps me busy but I love every minute of it!  Paper crafting provides some much needed downtime to help slow down that busy life! In addition to paper crafting, I'm an avid distance bike rider.  When the weather is right, it can be a tough call between crafts and getting out on a trail :).  I once read that you need a hobby that makes you happy (paper crafts) and one that makes you healthy (biking) - I'm thankful to have some fun things to do with my downtime!

January "Be Our Guest" Sketch Challenge Inspiration ~ Day 2

Happy Monday!!!

Today we have two layouts to share with you inspired by our

January "Be Our Guest" Sketch Challenge!

First up is a layout created by our

Lisa flipped this month's sketch and mixed and matched all

of the collections in the 

January Flavor of the Month Kit 

to create her adorable page.   

Don't you just love how well the different collections worked together when mixed?

Mixing and matching is a wonderful way to stretch your kit to create more layouts!
