Hello Everyone!

It's time for us to share some inspiration from the

 September 2021

Flavors of the Month Kit!
This kit features 4 different page collections that are all fabulous! We will spend the next few days featuring layouts our designers created using these fabulous kits!

"Happy"

Here's what Lisa said about her layout:

"I love the bright & bold colors and patterns in this kit! It was so fun to work with. I love embellishing my titles and this kit with all the different types and sizes of embellishments made it super easy to do. I love how it turned out!

"Summer Memories"

Here's what Nicole said about her layout:

I saved the Bella Blvd kit for my last project this month because I LOVE bright and cheerful lines. I went a little overboard and this layout took me a few days but I love the end result. Over all the double page layout can read as a two page or as (2) single pages, esp knowing that they will go into a D-ring style album. Normally I do not care for a harsh line at the middle of my layout, but for this one I am ok.
I took the chunky stripe pattern paper and cut the stripes apart, then ran them through my big shot with a wavy border die (this could be done freehand as well). I think layered them into a rainbow wave "pool" and tucked a bunch of photos into the waves.
To bring in more color to the background, I took cloud stencils and lots of inks to make a rainbow cloud background that I absolutely LOVE.
I backed the "Summer" cut file from the embellishment add on kit with papers from the main kit and some photos.
I sprinkled the embellishments from the main kit across the entire layout to keep with the chaotic/messy theme I had going on.

"Sunshine In the Garden"

Here's what Suzanna said about her layout:

I have never worked with these "Cut Outs" from Bella Blvd before so I was stoked for them to be in the embellishment add on this month. In lieu of a digital die cut machine, these are a great alternative! The possibilities are endless with them as you can back each letter in a different patterned paper or add photos. I opted to go the easy route and back the cut out with a single color, the aqua. Each of the butterflies I backed with a different color, thus incorportating all four colors into my layout. Thanks Rochelle for such diverse kits and always have me trying something new!

September 2021 Freaky Fast Formula

It's time for a new challenge....check out the

September Freaky Fast Formula

Using the formula as inspiration combined with the

Fancy Pants "Lake Life" Page Kit

one of the four page kits included in the

September Flavors of the Month Kit

Designer Nicole Bingaman

created the lovely layout below...

Nicole shares this about her layout:

"I paired the Freaky Fast Formula with the Paige Evans Bungalow Lane kit. I cut all my formula pieces from the pattern papers except the 4.5 x 6.5 piece and the circle. The 4.5 x 6.5 piece I cut from the second sheet of cardstock that came with the kit, and used a border punch along the top. For the 3.5" circle, I pulled a die cut from my stash that was that exact size.

Because I have no experience living any sort of "lake life", I really took a look at the die cuts that came in my specific kit. The die cut of the momma duck and her little babies reminded me of a local park here that I have taken my kids to and we fed the ducks that live there. From there I used all the other die cut pieces that were not specific to the "lake" theme and instead created an outdoorsy themed layout focused on feeding ducks.

I hope that this encourages you to take a deeper look at the page kits, especially if there is a kit that does not fit a theme in your life. Check the B sides of the paper, see if you can cut the die cuts apart and make them look different. Get creative and play! - Nicole
