"When I saw the Ancestry kit and all the old time feels it gives off, I remembered our family photo session from 2014 where we went to an old ghost town. I try to make album cover pages for my layouts and they usually just have the year and a photo from our session that year. This was the perfect solution for my 2014 album and I loved how fast this came together by pairing it with the Freaky Fast Friday prompt.

"I used the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Ancestry collection to scrap these pictures of my paternal great-grandparents from Mothers Day and Fathers Day 1946 and it was PERFECT! This vintage collection makes documenting these photos so easy and with so little work. I also used the Embellishment kit. From my stash, I used bakers twine for the tag and Metallic Mustard Gold Nuvo Crystal Drops."

"This kit was perfect to document this photo of my paternal great-grandparents from 1934! This is the only photo we have of the two of them together, so it certainly is one I wanted to preserve/document and this kit was perfect to do so! I used the tag from my stash to write hidden journaling on.

I love the beautiful colors of this kit. I used the phrase "be mine" from the embellishment kit as my title. I used some color blocking to showcase all the beautiful patterns contained in this fun kit!

“LoveBirds”

Heather said this about her layout:

The Photoplay Love Letters is a cute collection for documenting the loves in your lives, whether it be spouses/significant others, children or pets! I used it to keep this memory of my husband and I having wine slushies at a local winery. It was a spontaneous stop one day and I loved being able to document this special time together. I used the Embellishment Kit and some alphas from my stash for the word "Birds".
