"Hey Honey!"

Lisa:

"This line is so beautiful and I love how striking the papers looked against the black background! I loved this formula because it let me line stuff up as I like to do so you can see a lot of linear lines in this layout. I tried to offset that with the two layered embellishment clusters. Layering your embellishments always adds visual interest and is easy to do with all the included ephemera pieces in the kit!"

"This background paper was ready made for photos with very little extra work needed. So little needed taht I just added six different things to the layout! Talk about easy!"

Heather said this about her layout:

"When I opened my kit this month, I instantly fell in love with the Vicki Boutin Wildflower & Honey kit! The colors and patterns in this collection are amazing! I used the add-on embellishment kit also and completed this layout of my husband and I in just 30 minutes! Spray ink was added from my stash."

"For the Record"

Grace said this about her layout:

"I used these products for this set of photos because of the vibrant artwork behind one of my photos. I felt the tone of the papers matched the feel of the restaurant that we ate at. 

Since I had 6 photos and wanted to only create a single page, I first laid my photos onto my page first then with a ruler, measured the rest of the area so I can cut out papers to fill in those spaces. I also liked how the black cardstock created a good grid for the photos and papers.
To add some dimension to the page, I added some of the die cuts (flowers and heart) with foam adhesive.
There was a die cut “record” word in my kit and I used that as part of my title, I grabbed some smaller alphabet stickers from my stash to complete the title."

My Mind's Eye One Fine Day Page Kit Inspiration

We are continuing the showcase of our 

September 2019 Flavors of the Month Kit
with the
My Mind's Eye One Fine Day Page Kit.

Created this wonderful layout:
"Wonderful Birthday"

Grace said this about her layout:

"These papers were so lovely and fresh that it was just the perfect set to use to document my birthday from a few years back. I usually have my photos in the center, placed horizontally. But I was trying to deviate from my norm so not all of my pages look the same. So to make a “slight” change to my normal design, I turned my photos about 30 degrees so it can look slanted. It worked out just right and I didn’t have to trim any photos. 

The stickers were the perfect finishing touches for this page. I added some of them with foam adhesive to give them dimension and the page more interest."

Stash items used: Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Distress mini ink pad, Hybrid Ink My Favorite Things); Chipboard letter stickers (Thickers, American Crafts)
