"This page kit is packed with color and patterns. I decided to run with that for the theme of my page highlighting my kids doing a science/art project. The only challenge for me with this page kit was to not use ALL THE COLORS! What a fun kit!"

April Freaky Fast Formula Inspiration

Hello!

Today we are showcasing two amazing layouts inspired by the

April Freaky Fast Formula.

Our first layout was created by

Carta Bella " Flower Market" Page Kit

"Gather"

Heather:

   "Beautiful papers and embellishments from the Carta Bella Flower Market kit for capturing this sweet birthday moment with my grandmother. Love the wood grain paper and I used some distress ink to bring out the edges on all the papers. I also used the 2 border strips from the sticker sheet to complete my (2) 1x12" Freaky Fast Friday challenge."

"This is my page for the latest Freaky Fast Friday challenge. I have to say, I had a hard time at first with the specific papers that I was to use, especially since I had 4 3x5 photos to use. I initially wanted to use the circle in the center but with the amount of photos that I had, I would end up covering the circle. So to remedy that, I decided to break up the circles and place the majority of it on the bottom left and then the sliver that I cut out went on the top of my photo block. I loved how it turned out, especially since the larger circle created the perfect spot for my title and journaling. 

Speaking of titles, I got the idea for it from one of the stickers in this collection"

Stash items used: 

Date stamp (Studio Calico); Ink (Hybrid Ink, My Favorite Things); White Cardstock, Typewriter; Ink (Distress Mini Ink Pad); Large circle cutter (Creative Memories); Tiny letter stickers (Basic Grey)

"Love Learning"

Wendy said this about her layout:
"This page was created with the idea of the doors and how they open when we have education and when we are willing to dream.  I used some pictures of my son in his first year in our home school group to illustrate this theme.  The Simple Stories page kit word page was my starting point and I chose to rip the paper as sometimes learning can be messy, but always stay humble and kind.  The yellow paper was how bright your future is and I cut out the doors to use as embellishments on the page.  A few stickers to emphasize my theme, an old wood veneer piece, and some die cut letters finished my page, love learning."

"Celebrate Dreams"

Wendy said this about her layout:
"I was totally captured by the striped pattern and the beautiful floral patterns included in this page kit and decided to just enjoy playing with the beautiful papers.  I created an embellishment cluster which I later off set with a leftover cut file on the other side of the page.  The PhotoPlay chipboard pieces were the perfect embellishment touches to dress up my page about my dream coming true."

Wendy shares this about her layout"
"I was so in love with the papers from the PhotoPlay page kit that I just had to find a way to use the leftover pieces, and so this layout was born.  I arranged my leftovers to house my large black and white photo leaving room for some embellishing around the page.  I pulled in some old leftover cut files and wood veneer to draw attention to the picture.  To add some more touches to the page I broke into the Simple Stories page kit to finish up the page with a few stickers to finish telling my story."

"This is my Mom and Step-Dad they are both gone now. Working on this page brings back some great moment with them. I use some chip board hearts and Anna Griffin flowers from my stash. I inked the heart and then used my white pen to make the “X” pop out."
