Altered Projects for the Rest of the Week!!!

Don't you just love how much you can do with paper? The possibilities are endless these days, right?!! We can create layouts, cards, and altered projects. Well for the rest of week you are going to be presented with an up close and personnal view of altered projects. Melanie, Aphra , and I are going to share the steps to creating some super cute, fun STUFF!!

I'm up first! Take a look...

My Little Princess Sleeps Here Door Hanger

#1--Start with a boring wooden door hanger...

#2--Paint the entire hanger with acrylic paint...I used white.

#3--Trace hanger on desired patterned paper and cut.

#4--Apply Modge Podge to front of hanger and adhere patterned paper. Then apply a thin layer of Modge Podge over patterned paper to make the paper less resistant to wear.

#5--Embellish!!! I used MME Tickled Pink Collection from our current Double Shot kit, and glammed up this sweet girlie hanger!!

Here is a look at it on a door knob...

Thanks so much for stopping by, and don't forget to visit Thursday and Friday! Melanie will be here tomorrow just in time for St. Patrick's Day!! Happy Wednesday!
