The 12x12 box, that is.
Here is another reason why I'm a D-ring convert. My kid's egg hunting party pictures had a lot of tiny little stories I wanted to capture, which proved to be too challenging, too busy to cram into a regular 12x12 layout. Instead, I used a photo sleeve refill made for 12x12 D-rings. I love how, as 4x6 mini layouts, I'm able to relive those small precious moments of the day. But by using the same paper background (from May 2008 FOTM kit), I achieved cohesiveness and it still feels like one single LO.
And here's how I cut my 4x6 backgrounds. I used scrap blue paper to form mats. I hope you can use this idea!
What a great idea! I can't wait to try it out.

ReplyDeleteGreat idea. It hits the nail on the head. Sometimes a mini album is just not necessary. Will definitely try.
