As I walked in to work yesterday there was a little dried leaf floating up to the top of the building. I stopped to watch it and thought. "Hey that looks really cool by the window like that. How can I make that onto a layout?" Now I am loosing sleep trying to figure this out. So that also makes me wonder.... Do "normal" people see stuff the way we scrapbookers see things? HUMMM....

I sure hope so. :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids even point things out to me anymore saying mom you can do that on a layout can't you.
I have wondered this myself. I have noticed lately that now my dh points things out to me. Like, oh babe go get your camera, hurry take a picture, that would make a great scrapbook page! He is my enabler!

Great little story! I'm always seeing and thinking of new layout ideas. Sometimes they come together like I've planned and sometimes not! LOL
ReplyDeleteEverything in my enjironment gives me inspiration for my pages!!! No doubt!
ReplyDeleteI think they do...my kids love to tell me to take pictures of certain things as we are out in about...It could be almost anything and they want me to scrap it. We do alot of little mini albums from our walks and they scrap them themselves.
ReplyDeleteI hang around with a lot of writers and other creative people and they definitely see the art in everyday,
ReplyDeleteYeah we do! When I get interesting photos without a true story of their own that I want to scrap, I add song lyrics, a poem, or something that I am dreaming of right now as inspiration for the journaling. Works every time!
ReplyDeleteI can not walk through a mall with out thinking hey that would make a great page. . .
ReplyDeleteI've been know to ask family members to change their shirts to match the paper I plan to use for the LO!
